DREAM Offering QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught gatekeeper training program in the United States, and more than one million adults have been trained in classroom settings in more than 48 states.

Recently, Rachel Deer, Shirley Hubbard and Gini Tucker received their QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Certification which means DREAM is offering this free suicide prevention course to local businesses, agencies, organizations, churches, or community groups who are interested in knowing more about suicide and how to respond to someone who may be contemplating suicide.

During this training, participants will learn: suicide speak_reach-630x420
